PEX Plumbing Supply Lines?
I am considering re-plumbing my house. I’ve done a lot of copper but never PEX. Anyone have a strong opinion one way or the other. I’ve heard good things..and not so good things about fittings, junctions, etc.

Most of the plumbing book illustrations assume that the water supply is coming from the bottom.
I need to update my bathroom which currently has a shower liner in it. I need to replace it and do something with the tub (it’s aqua). I have a large window in the middle of the long wall of the shower with a wooden frame that I currently have painted with marine vanish and put a shower curtain over. How much does something like this cost? Could I do it myself? I know how to caulk and that’s about the extent of my plumbing knowledge. We are on a tight budget anywhere we can save is good.
The home is a modular, the closet was supposed to be a bathroom, but the previous owner did not install a bathroom, and it is simply a huge closet. We need to have all the plumbing done, plus a full bath tub, sink, vanity, toilet, and floor. We are looking for the cheapest and most basic materials for the tub, vanity, etc. The house is in PA. Anyone have any ideas?

im planing on buying an american style fridge freezer with water ice dispenser! but it needs to be plumbed in! but my water supply is on the opposite side of my kitchen to were the fridge freezer will be goin. is there a way of plumbing it in?? and dose it have to be plumbed in evan if you dont use the ice despenser?
While trying to reinstall a new bathroom floor, I discovered some damage to the slab floor where it meets the toilet plumbing. How can I repair that floor to insure a better water-tight seal under the toilet?

100 y.o. house, bathroom tub drains very slowly.when it wants to . cant afford plumber right now,will not use any drain-o products, does that little hand held air pump plunger work?i have a hand auger, but the plumbing is so tightly twisted thru the rafters that even the tiny auger wont work… what can i do??
I recently bought a new shower and i fitted it to the existing plumbing where the previous shower was, however when i went to test it for the first time it ran for a few minutes then started to leak from the pressure release valve at the back of the unit, the instructions say it does this if theres too much pressure. Anyone know what i can i do to fix it without paying for a plumber unless its my only option. thanks for any advice.
