i bought a ice maker kit, but i got the non self piercing saddle valve. i really dont want to buy a T connector. my option are to drill into the cold water Polymer Braid Faucet Supply Line or the copper pipe coming out of the wall. please help and let me know which one would be better and safer.

Is there a product made that can filter the water your refrigerator uses to make ice? We have terrible tasting water, and even the melting ice in a drink leaves a bad taste. I filter my water out of the faucet, but can’t seem to find anything that filters my ice maker in the freezer.

Currently I drink a lot of bottled water. I want to quit because I’m wasting money as well as contributing to an environmental problem. I’m looking into getting some kind of water filter but I don’t know what the best option is. Is a faucet filter better, or the container you keep in the fridge? Are there any other types that I don’t know about?

The tub/shower hasn’t been used for a few years in this home I inherited. The well water is hard and I think that’s the problem. The faucet is one of those single handle type you pull/push to turn on/off. Won’t budge. Tried penetrating oil and CLR, still no luck…

i’m looking for a good water filtration system that produces good tasting healthy water.
It can be faucet,pitcher,or under the sink,i don’t care (but tell me)
I don’t want to be changing filters like every month so something that will last me a long time.

I’m looking at the instructions and i’m a bit confused. (1) I’m pushing the end connectors on to the valve bodies. how will the water get out to the faucet? 2) there was a lot of leaking when I connected what the water supply lines to the facet inlents; i used plubmbers tape and the lines are pretty tight.

I have a refrigerator that only has an inline filter instead of the additional (and much desired) second filter in the fridge. We have used the sink faucet one for awhile but it’s so expensive, has to be changed a lot, and is always in the way when I’m doing dishes. Would you recommend getting an undersink filtration system or buying something like Culligan delivered already filtered water?

instead of connecting it to a faucet via garden hose, you syphon the water to the pressure washer from a barrel of water? In theory it sounds like it would work, has anyone tried it?

I’ve been to Lowes and Home Depot but cannot find a line that will work. It is a 1/4" FlexPex tube with a round disk about 3/8" up on each end with a plastic screw-on connector which connects to the faucet and water supply. One side has a piece which fits over it making the outside of the tube larger. Any idea where I can get one of these – even online? I had a water filter system attached and it isn’t working anymore. Now it is leaking where they put the T connector into the tube. I just want to take the filter systme out of the picture and it seems like replacing this line will solve all the problems.
