I bought a new sink and faucet as i am renovating my kitchen. I dont know much about plumbing. I have the hot and cold lines going to the hot and cold pipes for the faucet. The spayer hose looks as though it is supposed to connect to one of the lines. I want to connect so that I could choose the temperature of the sprayer based on my faucet. Is there something i should be looking for? Otherwise i was going to just hook it up to either the hot or cold water supply.
I notice little white looking flakes in the bottom of my glass of water once all my ice melted. I figured it was my in freezer ice maker, so I pulled out my old school ice cube trays and the same thing happened when the ice started to melt, I could see little flakes coming off of the ice cubes. But when I tried this with store bought ice it was completely clear. What is the cause of my dirty ice? My faucet water is clear but when frozen and melted, its dirty.

My home is only two years old and both my tub showers are spotted and when I clean them the spots are still there even if I dry the wall with a towel. It seems like they started spotting within the first few weeks and are just getting worse. Any suggestions as to what I can use to get rid of those spots. I do have soft water … both in the hot and cold faucet.
I have tried some of the granite cleaning products one would find at home depot but had no success. These products do not work on stains.
Granite is 7 years old. The sealer is still holding up on the rest of the counter tops. Only around the faucet area does it need work.
Limeaway did not work

I replaced all of the plumbing in my house with new 3/4 inch copper. It was 1/2 before. I replaced the water heater at the same time and one sink/faucet. All of the supply lines are 3/4 which are connected to faucets by 3/8 ID supply lines, and to the washing machine and tub/shower by 1/2 inch copper. All of the valves are new ball valves to include the ones at the supply lines to the faucets. Yes, I have checked and all of the valves are fully open. Now I can hardly take a shower my pressure is so low. What happened?
The pressure is not just low in the shower, it is low at all fixtures.
