how does an after market vacuum filter differ from one that is not.?
The new HEPA filter at a vacuum shop sells for . On ebay they are called HEPA after market and go for about . It sure looks the same from the pics. Is it a rip off?

Does anybody know where to find Handy Andy tools from the 50′s or 60′s?
I can find the tool boxes on EBay but not the tools ie wrenches and such. You can find the woodworking tools but not the mechanical tools. Are they that rare?
My husband and I are looking for an affordable way to put two 12×12 garage doors on our new garage.?
Can any one help us where to find two basic doors within a budget of 0? We have checked on ebay, at Lowe’s, Home Depot, and different places online, and they are all way out of our reach. We live in Warren County, PA, zipcode 16351. If anyone knows of even a place to find some used ones, they don’t have to have windows or be insulated, and we are not using them with a garage door opener. If anyone would know where we could find any, we would greatly appreciate your advice.

@ humor4fms: Very good advice and I agree. Today I was reading my old cockatiel book from 1991 and some of the info is incredibly inaccurate.
Coincidentally, I just bought ‘Feeding Your Pet Bird’ from eBay just yesterday. I’m glad it’s a book worth mentioning, I’m looking forward to reading it.

Best way do find deals on Cabinets?
Need some new, used or clearanced cabinets for the kitchen and bath. How can I find out about clearenced or wholesale cabinets in my area? For I have been checking the home depots, craigslist, and ebay.
Also what is the difference between refaced and resurfaced cabinets? And what would that cost the have done?
Oh and how do I find a freight damage outlet store? Do they even list that in the yellow pages?
Where can I find shelving for thousands of vinyl records?
My husband has a collection of vinyl records that he will not part with. We limited space for these and they are getting in the way. They are currently in orange crates rearranged as best as I can . . . but the collection keeps growing and I can look at the crates no longer. I want to get him shelves to put them in but I want them to look nice and modern at the same time. Where should I look? And I tried ebay they didn’t ahve anything like I want. Oh and I’m not rich so I can’t spend that much money.

ST-5 Water Heater Expansion Tank?
A plumber came today to fix something, and he told me that I need to replace the water heater ST-5 expansion tank (I think it is 2 gallon size), since there is no air in there any more. The house was built in 2001. A friend of mine said he can do it for me. Questions:
1) What brand is a good brand to buy? I went to internet, it seems to point to Amtrol THERM-X-TROL ST-5 Expansion Tank, Model Number – ST-5.
2) Any plumbing supply company you recommend? I saw on ebay sell this brand for . Also at PlumberSurplus.com, sell it for
3) Do I need to buy any other accessories, when this tank is to be replaced? Such as connector or valve? What size? and what brand?
4) Anything else that I need to pay attention to?

Where can you purchase kitchen cabinet hardware at discount?
Does anyone know where to buy cabinet pulls, knobs and hinges at a reduced cost on the net? I have not found any place including Ebay where they are less than the retail stores after factoring in shipping. I am looking for Liberty brand products in particular.
