My friend brought over her two cats and put them in our storage room, which is basically another part of the house but without a kitchen and toilet, and we didn’t realize the cats had fleas up until my friend took them back home. I was in the storage room one day trying to clean it completely out because we’re making it into a game room and I noticed I was getting ate up by fleas. Our washer and dryer are in this room as well so it’s hard to not go in there because obviously I have to wash clothes. You have to walk out of the actual house and underneath the carport in order to get to the storage/laundry room. Long story short, the fleas are getting worse and somehow they are slowly but surely making their way into my home. I need to get out there and clean that place up but how can I go in there and clean it up without getting ate up by fleas?
P.S.Our exterminator was suppose to come yesterday but he never made it and we’re already paying him 60 dollars so I don’t want to go out and by something really expensive to fix this problem, I just need a quick fix. Thanks ahead of time for all the answers!

I want to install pot rack right above my sink but i can not find the stud right at the position i want. If i move it to the left then I can’t open the cabinet. If i move to the right, it might touch (lean against) the side of other cabinet. Both way looks ugly. I am not sure if there is solution to my problem.
FYI, It’s vaulted ceiling and I don’t think that i have access to the other side of the wall (err… I don’t know if i can get to the other side of ceiling)

I’m in the early stages of designing a floor plan for my new home. In the new house I would like to have 2 washers and 2 dryers. How time saving would that be! My question is this: can front loaders be stacked? For any experts on appliances – can you think of anything that would restrict the new machines from being on top of each other?
I have to make a water filter only using things from the kitchen. Will burnt toast particles work the same as charcoal filters if I put it in my design? Also will rice or oregano work as a possible filtration method? Any other inputs would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. I cant use any electronics
At first I thought it was the ice maker but the sound seems exterior. Two or three loud sharp knocks, sometimes in the middle of the night, waking me up. No sequence to the sound, very unpredictable, day or night. All compartments work fine; fridge, freezer, ice maker. Unit is in appropriate, clean, space, no restrictions. I suspect the compressor is the only thing capable of making such a loud noise, its sits properly on the rubber mounts so I have ruled out vibration.
How do I Descale a MiTM 2003 steam pressure washer I have 2 of these steam pressure washers , both well used and the local MiTM Dealer does not do the descaling . I think there is a chemical to use but I don’t know what it is or where to get it . Considering the 06.00 price tag on the units I dont want to mess them up.
a guy gave me an estimate of 7,000 to redo my kitchen including sink and countertops. i am wondering how much different they are than the ones you just go and pick up at lowes and hang up. i really want the custom oak cabinets but 7,000 seem high on a 140,000 house i paid what the appraisal was and was built in 1975. and has popcorn ceilings
