Is it possible to take front/back panels off washers/dryers to fit (or angle) them through small door frames?

Have a 25" washer & dryer and must fit them through a 23" doorframe. I’ve been told that I can take off a panel and angle the hollow space around a door to fit it. Is this true?

  1. we did this last week, and some tiny little cords broke. now it doesnt work.

    try another way

  2. Yes-but for machines generally built in the 70′s and some ’80′s models. It might be easy’re to remove the door-stops from the door frame first.
