I need ideas on lighting and decor for an outdoor August wedding reception.?

wedding colors: Purples, Champagnes, maybe pops of Red
Food: Taco Bar and Dessert Bar
We don’t have a specific theme. We HATE beachy, shells, luau, etc… We were thinking torches (not Tiki) and maybe having a raised platform for us to sit on, but after that I’m stuck. We are not traditional, but do not want tacky!!! Ceremony will be in a local Park and then we want to have a huge party/reception outdoors, maybe on a family friend’s land so we can stick stuff in the ground etc.

have you though about doing sort of "Romantic Forest" type decor? Branches and rich fabrics in the deep colors. If you want the reception outside im assuming there’s already trees? so adding your branches and trees to fill out and surround the area would make the guests feel like they wandered into an enchanted romantic forest! good luck!
