   I had this problem in the bath i got a good enamel spray paint which was made for that purpose, and great you would never know it had been marked.
   PS the paint dried in a about a minute

   have you tried tooth paste – always works on the enamel on my teeth.

   best thing is probably to use bloo loo and no one can see scratches, there are companies that can re enamel baths probably could do the loo.

   It is very hard to do, there are enamel paints that you can try but it means crossing your legs for a day or so while you wait for it to take effect. easier to get a new bowl.

   Don’t think I have ever seen an enamel toilet. Both are china in my home.

   It is possible to repair enamel baths, there is a special paint that will enable you to do it. It should be available from places such as Homebase or B&Q etc or bathroom installers.

   Think you need to check that it really is made of enamel though.

   I would say empty it dry it out and then use the same product for D.I.Y. tub re glazing.. available at many hardware stores.. only set back to this is that your toilet may be out of service for 3 days to a week depending on which product you use.

   Repair ,by using enamel paint and hope it doesn’t stand out.

   Modern porcelain enamel can be chipped but only w/ a very hard blow that bends the base metal.

   Damaged porcelain enamel fixtures & appliances can be repaired, w/ do-it-yourself-kits or by professionals who do the best, most lasting repairs. Look in the Yellow Pages under "Porcelain Repair".

   A special type of paint is used, as porcelain enamel itself must be baked on under very hot temperatures, so it will not be as durable as the original porcelain enamel surface. Never attempt such repair on utensils used for preparing or cooking food.

    Buy a new toilet, or if you have buildings assurance claim it from them, say you dropped somthing down the loo and it chipped the rim, This actually happened to me and i ended up with a new bathroom suit
