  1. They probably also have grease on them. So, first soak them in hot water with Dawn. Best grease killer there is. Then just clean them with a good copper cleaner. Shine ‘em up and put them back.

  2. a fine steel wool dipped in salt and lemon juice – or soak them in ammonia to degrease them and then finish them up with the fine steel wool and lemon/salt mixture
