I used a Karcher 1500 psi model to clean a 100 foot driveway heavily soiled from oak leaves for 3 years and it worked great although a bit slow. Also used it to pressure wash a deck, garage and siding with no problems...I'd recommend them for minor jobs.

I've had a couple of 1600-1800 psi electric pressure washers. They are light-duty washers. They will do large jobs(driveways), but it takes longer as the volumn of water/minute and PSI are less than a gas model. If your in no hurry, they will work, it may take all day.

Most of these are good. There is an issue with getting repair parts for the pumps. In general, you can't buy parts. They make seal kits for the gas powered models but not the electrics for some reason. I guess you throw it away and buy a new one.
