Help with a home water filtration project?

I have to make a water filter only using things from the kitchen. Will burnt toast particles work the same as charcoal filters if I put it in my design? Also will rice or oregano work as a possible filtration method? Any other inputs would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. I cant use any electronics

Dishwashers are supposed to clean bathrooms?

I have a question, to those who are dishwashers in some restaurant. Do you also have to clean the bathrooms? I’m supposed to clean bathrooms, as well clean floors, and wash dishes as well. Even if it gets busy where theres lots of people.
It’s not something I don’t want to this the rest of my life. In fact this is my first job. No Im not complaining. You people should read the question before answering them.

My husband bought a big slab of pork spare ribs on sale and he wants me to cook it, I am clueless, any ideas?

There a was a buy 1 get 2 free sale so hubby couldn’t resist and he bought 3 of these big racks of John Morrell pork ribs. We froze 2 of them but he wants to eat one today. It weighs 3.34 lbs (if that even helps to know). Do I crock pot it or boil it before I put it on the char-coaled BBQ grill or just put it on the grill "Raw"?

Need your opinion on air compressors?

I am looking to buy an air compressor for my shop. I am looking at probably around a 1.5 to 2.0 HP with a 25-30 gallon tank. Mid price range. What do you consider good and bad brands?

I have a slow draining toilet. Auger and plunging worked well for about a day.?

The plumber came yesterday and used an auger. Later last night it started flushing slow again. I used a plunger and that helped the water go down but it is still slow. Any suggestions?
